Ontario Indoor Climbing
Indoor programs hosted by the Canadian Adaptive Climbing Society accommodate all skill and ability levels. In the past we have worked with a large variety of individuals by using key concepts, equipment and techniques, and discussing with each individual what will work for them. For new climbers, this typically includes some trial and error to find the most comfortable means to climb and progress. For experienced climbers, we are working to provide an excellent community and support you in accessing resources through relationships that we have built.
Climb Types
Intro Climbs
New climbers are always welcome. We often find that our participants surprise themselves and their friends and families with what they are able to do, and how they are able to progress. If you would like to try climbing, check out one of these sessions!
Recreational Climbs
Regularly scheduled “casual” climbing session will be starting up shortly. These climbs will be open to climbers who have joined us for at least one intro climb, or climb regularly on their own already. Recreational climbs will take place at few gyms across Toronto area (specific locations to be announced).
Competition climbing
Competition climbing is new to us, but conversations have started about how we can start this up locally and support athletes travelling to compete. Please let us know if this interests you.
